Juliette Blightman

London, GB

Through a variety of media Juliette Blightman (b.1980 UK) releases a stream of consciousness, bringing together disparate personal and bizarre objects into her line of vision. A background in performance and filmmaking is evident in a vibrant, shapeshifting documentary practice which embodies a diaristic narrative. In her most recent work, iPhone photography, watercolours and family snapshots are all part of a palette which creates a visual language for day-to-day life. Blightman earned a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree at the ByamShaw School of Art in London in 2003 and a Master in Fine Arts at University of the Arts, London/Central St. Martins in 2007.
