Black Box Projects,
Constructing poetic, fluid sculptures suspended in water, Adam Jeppesen expands the possibilities for defining the cyanotype process.
Adam Jeppesen (b. 1978, Denmark) lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Jeppesen’s work is a search for spirituality through seclusion, at the same time it addresses the materiality and transience of the photograph as an object. Working with analogue and labour-intensive processes, Jeppesen's photographs are the product of physical challenge and experimental printing techniques. He has abandoned the search for the perfect print in favour of coincidence, damage and imperfection. Jeppesen's latest series, The Pond, is an exploration of identity through intimate, eerie portraits of his own and his loved ones hands.
